Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 - Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a small neighborhood situated on the West Island, which is part of the Montreal island. A lot of people who aren't aware of the name mistakenly believe that it is the West Island extends westward from Montreal. It is actually it is it is the West Island includes everything westward of the city of Lachine. Amanda Brugel's birthplace is frequently cited, however her short stay did not last long. Brugel became a woman of a certain age in Courtice Ontario just outside Oshawa. The first goal she had was to become an expert dancer. It was the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship led her to York University, where she was a theatre student and earned an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts in 2000. Brugel's career spans over twenty years, and she's performed in more than 60 shows, both on big screens and on smaller ones. Her most recognizable role was as Rita (pictured below) on The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel was the sole Canadian actor on the show in Season 1 which was viewed only at times.
